singer/songwriter

Morgan Englund

I was over 50, broken, exhausted, and thinking to myself... is this it? Do I just work,  then be old, then die? What about that dream I had to be a singer and a songwriter? What do I do with the words and feelings inside of me?

Many years ago, I made the decision to stay home to raise my kids instead of going on the road to promote the album I had just recorded. That led to an entire career change from actor/musician to paramedic and firefighter. I was truly blessed to be firefighter/paramedic for the city of Los Angeles. Getting that badge pinned to my chest by the chief was one of the proudest moments of my life.

As I watched my kids grow I was blown away by their immense musical talent. It made me wonder if I had fully explored my own. I hadn't. I never gave myself the shot I deserved to take. So, there I was, recovering from my third major surgery, when I came up with the idea I am now living. Give back to the industry that gave me so much, while getting myself known as an artist and songwriter.

I am releasing my debut ep with the single, Homeward Bound (A Firefighter's Song) in the fall of 2017. I will be touring the U.S. to raise funds and awareness for firefighter all over the country. I am  shooting the video, recording my ep, and Setting up my tour. Join my list or check back later for shows events and..:)
